Writer's picture: RISE & SHINERISE & SHINE

GRP lining is a significant application in the fiberglass industry, it has diverse applications including corrosion resistances, Structural Strengthening and Waterproofing, it can be found in most if not all water storage tanks, Sewerage tank, chemical storage tanks, tank roof lining, manhole, sewerage sump pit cooling towers, chemical plants fire fighting networks, pipeline Networks, water transmission pipelines, etc.

Special grade resins are used to attain various properties, which allow the Protect GRP lining to withstand resistance to fungi & algae, strong acids, chemicals and high temperature, it’s an effective alternative to components replacement.

GRP composite finds many applications in the modern world ranging from high-performance aerospace components to simple architectural cladding. A massive range of materials and processing methods are available to suit the required application some common characteristics of GRP items are:

  • No galvanic corrosion (rusting)

  • High strength to weight ratio

  • Little maintenance requirement

GRP Lining is a permanent layer coating process for Concrete Tanks to prevent leakage and water absorption. GRP lining will completely and seamlessly seal the cracks, leaks corrosion and flaking materials it offer a new life to damage /eroded walls providing a long term, secure environment at a fraction of the cost of a total rebuild.
